Since that time our Residents Association has been actively pursuing this opportunity to become a Resident Owned Community&#8211;ROC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact this is one of our three objectives in our<a href=\"https:\/\/cascadeparkestates.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/21\/draft-bylaws-objectives\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"166\"> Bylaws<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-15b078e55f70841658845b1aeaaf91ee\" style=\"line-height:1\">Article 2:&nbsp; Objectives shall be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-67e64a1cb55405980d8ff8fdef7da16d\" style=\"line-height:1\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1.&nbsp; to represent the interests and concerns of members with a unified voice in regard to all issues relating to their homes in the Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1ccaf5739d019edae4537470b7fc01d1\" style=\"line-height:1\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 2.&nbsp; to actively pursue and coordinate opportunities for members to help each other as good neighbors including communication, social events and mutual assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-06ad49530ba3fc435b9efe6716a841c4\" style=\"line-height:1\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong> 3.&nbsp; to be available as a tenant\u2019s organization to attempt to purchase the Park should it become available for purchase.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since that time the residents association has sent several email notices about the process. We recommend you go to this link&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/rocusa.org\/why-resident-ownership\/\"><strong>https:\/\/rocusa.org\/why-resident-ownership\/<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; to read them. The page details the categories of Control, Eviction Security, Liability Protection and Sense of Community.&nbsp; Best of all it has a Site Fee Predictor that uses market data to predict the monthly rent savings of a resident owned park versus one commercially owned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The road to be a ROC is not easy.  Some have a successful journey, some fall along the way.  We look forward to the peace of mind of having a piece of the ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P.S.
