Colorado Parks Seeking Resident Ownership

This story of residents under contract to buy their mobile home parks is the closest I have found to our own situation here at Cascade Park Estates.

Two neighboring parks near Aspen Colorado are working together to complete a combined $42 million transaction. For one it would mean rents increase from current average of $1,322 to $1,950 average. For the other the current is $1,122, to increase to $1,350. This is after a $15 million subsidy from local governments and others. They are collecting small donations and holding community fund raisers to increase that subsidy amount.

They are being aided by the Colorado arm of ROC USA which is equivalent to ROC NW that are Residents Association has contacted for aid.
